Subject: please help hes bleeding!

i went to take my rabbit patches out of his cage and when i put him down i saw a blot of red on his toe...i noticed DRIED blood but just a little but his whole nail is up. i don't know how to cut his nails for i am afraid to cut his quick so i get my nieghbor to do it. she hasnt done it for a while (my fault and i know it) so thats why his nail is all the way up, his nails got too long. im 16 and i live with my mother but shes at work i dont know what to do and im scared to put him down b.c he might nip at it...WHAT DO I DO?! i dont know if he is in pain hes not showing that he is but im sure he is. please help me
