Subject: Re: rabbits dying

My rabbit Feecie.

we baught our rabbit flecie in july '07, and she was the best rabbit ever she was full of charatcer, she loved her cuddles and chasing her ball around. her favourite thing was flipping her bowl over her head then chasing it.

but suddenly on the 3rd april, '08 my fiancee baught her upstairs at 7 am and said "i think shes dead" she was lifeless, still had a pulse, but no life at all her eyes were closed and she was floppy.

we gave her water we squeezed it into her mouth and tried massaging her. she started to have a bit of life in her after we more or less forced water into her. but then she gave a big yawn and passed. she didnt want to die it was obvious, because she just started to take more water and had a bit of life come into her.... unless that was her last wind?!? she had died.... less then a year old!

she was a very big rabbit and she was fed and had water everyday.

i want to know why she died?!?!?!?! all i can think is that because she was such a big rabbit that the food i was giving her wasnt enough for her?

sorry ive rammbled on..... i live on my own with my two baby daughters so have no one to share my grief with. so if anyone ha any idea as to why fleecie died then please email me

thankyou
