Subject: My bun has kidney/bladder stones - help!

My 6 year old house rabbit has kidney and bladder stones.
We found out when we took him to the vet after we saw blood in his urine. The vet took an xray and told us that he had kidney and bladder stones which had to be removed.
But the vet also said my bun was really old and may not survive surgery.

Just want to know if any one else has had similar experiences and what was done to help their bun.

My bun (Snuffles) does not seem to be in pain and is still eating and drinking as usual. And he certainly doesn't behave like he's very old......

Please help.
