Subject: New rabbit owner with questions

Hi, recently my mother took in a two month old rabbit from a co-worker, and I have questions about care. Currently, it is kept in a large cage with newspaper on the bottom, and shredded newspaper on the bottom also. It has a tendancy to bite on the news paper, so what I'm wondering is if there's any hazzard in having this happen?

Also, the food is kept in a food container, and the water in a small dish. I realize that everything nesscary is not collected yet, so I'm wondering what would we need to add for adiquete living.

Also, the rabbit is fidgity at times, and I haven't really attempted to pick it up. What's the correct way to pick one up?
