Subject: carpet digging & wallpaper chewing

Hello! I got my rabbit a few months ago from a rescue centre. She is ten months old and has luckily been litter trained quickly. The problem I do have is she likes to dig up the carpet when I'm out and has just discovered she can pull the wallpaper off the walls - great! I don't want to have to keep her in the cage when I'm out. I'm getting her spayed for health reasons so hopefully it may calm her chewing too. Other than this she is lovely. Anyone got any ideas how I can keep her from destroying the house? Limited for space for toys and runs due to shared house.
