Subject: HELP!!

My rabbit is probably almost 3 years old. Lately I have noticed changes in his behaviour where he is not eating or drinking as much, and has lost a lot of weight. He also has a bunch of "guck" we'll call it forming in and around his eyes. He still eats lettuce, and carrots when I put them in there and he eats them all, my question is, do rabbits have the same problem hampsters do where their teeth grow too much and cause them problems? I can sometimes hear what seems to me, him grinding his teeth. Any information would be greatly appreciated.. dont wanna lose my little guy.
