Subject: Cats v Rabbits

Your thoughts and advice will be much appreciated on: How at risk are mini-lops from being attacked by cats?
We allow our young mini-lops to free range during the day in our fully enclosed (New Zealand) rear yard. To have them constantly caged is an anathema to us. It is no different to you or I being locked in our bedrooms for life - to avoid being knocked over by buses etc. We may live for a LONG time but that is not life!
To see them run at lightning speed and jinking around is quite spectacular. But we have had a couple of cats in the back yard lately and we DO NOT want them killed by one!
