Subject: dead bunny found by a nest

In my next door neighbors yard there was a dead bunny found on his sidewalk. The bunny was found without a head, we don’t know what kind of animal would kill it. We found the nest it belonged to. By brother took a stick and looked in the nest there was another baby bunny. Now i am wondering if the mom abandoned her babies because of her loss. Please give me advice on how to know if the mother abandoned the babies soon before it’s too late! Email me at penguinsocrluver@aim.com
