Subject: messy rabbit!

we recently had to babysit a 3mth old, very boisterous puppy. The pup stayed outside out of consideration for Max, our 18mth netherland dwarf. at first Max was quite upset, as the pup would jump up on one of the four windowsills Max sleeps, or try and terrorise him through the glass back door. very quickly though max learnt the pup couldn't touch him, and began to mercilessly tease the pup to utter and complete distraction, sending her absolutely crazy! (have you ever seen a dwarf rabbit casually throw himself onto his back, lazily licking his paws, while a puppy throws shoes within centimetres, only separated by glass?). The pup has now returned home, much to the disappointment of Max.

My problem , however, is this: we had the pup for 3 and 1/2 weeks, and shes been gone about four days. since a week of her arrival, max had spread his droppings form one end of the room to the other! he still uses his litter boxes, he's not urinating anywhere else. he's also still displaying all the signs of a very happy rabbit, in fact has been more interactive and playful since we've had him!

some of the droppings are also quite large, but ceratinly not all. help, this is getting messy!!
