My rabbit just had ear mites and the vet used Revolution for dogs in a purple top tube (Revolution Mauve (2.5- 5kg). It goes by the weight of the animal, and still is not cheap. It kills everything, via the blood stream, but you just spot it on the skin and it gets absorbed.

I have been assured that it is OK for rabbits as, in an ironic measure, it was tested on rabbits!!
