Hello

Can someone please help me... i got a rabbit today.. my brother just droped this rabbit off at my house and told me that his wife bang the bunny home cuz she felt bad for it the lil girl that had it didnt want it didnt like it and never let it out of the "cage" never played with it and when she saw the rabbit it was in a Small cage (she said that the bunny couldnt even move in it) there was no water in the bottle and there was no food in the cage she asked the girl what she was feeding it and she said she didnt know! so she ask if she could take it home and the girl said "YES please do i hate that thing it smells".... well my bother gave the rabbit to me because he knows i can not stand to see animals hurt,not takin care....

OK so now i have a rabbit i have always wanted one but never got on for some reason well the lil bunny looks like a baby he/she is really small (maybe its just small from not being feed) i dont know to much about rabbits i got some rabbit food and hay i gave it to him/her and he ate it alllllll up prety fast.. i dont have a cage for him i think im going to build him/her a cage but i cant do that for a while i have some empty cages around here but only one that would be ok for a rabbit its an old ferret cage ( 3 level superpet cage) BUT the cage it pretty rusty it was siting out back for a month or two and it got raind on (i didnt ever think i would use it again and was going to throw it out thats why i just left it out there and didnt cover it up) so i was wondering if there was any thing i could do about the rust on the cage that would be safe for the rabbit if theres any thing i can refinsh it with or something??? can someone please let me know what i can do about this a.s.a.p becuz he is not in a cage right now i have him runing in my bathroom! and cant keep him in there that would be a mess to clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant aford to buy a new cage right now... i have a few other qustions but thats the most inportent on!!! how can i tell if he/she is a boy or girl there is sooo much fur down there i cant see vary well?!?!?! is there any website with good info on them? is that rabbit shampoo ok to use?how would i give him a bath? i have 2173 more things to ask but cant think right now....

so any thing i should know any good info PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
