Subject: Possible infected nervous system.

We have a 4 year old Californian house rabbit. Lately he his nose has started to droop on one side. Our vet found that he had 2 separate areas of nerve damage on his face, and said that this could be a possible infection of the nervous system. He also loses his balance from time to time. Has anyone else had any problems like this. We don't want to start treating with any antibiotics until we are sure. We would be very greateful for any advice.
