Subject: need help

I got my son a baby rabbit to replace his three year old rabbit that died. When we went out to feed it the next morning it was lying on its side with its feet straight out and quivering. It was not that cold overnight. We brought the bunny in and cuddled it. After a couple of hours it started to eat, drink and act normal. We kept it in overnight. When then put it back out in its pen and checked on it morning noon and night. Everything was find for 6 days. On the 7th day i went out in the morning and it was the samething all over again. Brought it in, cuddled it and gave it carrots and lettuce and a few pellets and after about 6 hours it again acted fine. Took it back out to its pen and had a funny feeling so i went out around 10 tonight and it was lying on its side, back legs stretched out with its little toes spread. Its in the house again and I don't know what is wrong. Could someone please help me. It eats like a pig. Its bowel movements seem normal although it poops alot. Thank you in advance.
