I know what you're going through. My very first rabbit did the very same thing. Whenever I held her across my chest she would bite down on my shoulder. She wasn't trying to bite me, it seemed to me that she mainly did it to hold the fabric in her mouth. I eventually learned (after two very sore shoulders) to raise the material first, she'd bite down and hold it in her mouth, and then sit contently for an hour or more across my chest.

I've had a total of four rabbits in my life, two male and two female. Both of the male rabbits licked my hands and legs. Neither of the females did any licking. I don't know if this is consistant with all males and females. But that's been my experience. For both of my boys, all I had to do is put my hand anywhere near their mouth and they'd start licking. But I don't know if there's any way you can 'make' them lick you.

(LOL!! I just realized that it may have been a typing error. Did you mean LIKE you? or LICK you?)
