Dwarf Lops and Miniature lops are very friendly and great with kids.
I have a male and a female dwarf lop and a male and a female mini lop and we show and breed them.
If you are to get a bunny definetely get all the available vaccines and make sure if it does live outside that you have shelter for it and flywire around the cage.
Think about buying from a breeder, sometimes they have rabbits that are not great for showing but will be fine for a pet that you may find are reasonably cheap.
