Hi,
I don't know a lot about rex rabbits but I do know they were
supposed to have been bred for their fur. The ones I have
rescued and rehomed have had lovely natures. The only thing
I was ever warned of about Rex rabbits was that they must
not be kept on a wire floor (always keep them on a solid floor if they are kept in an enclosure) because the fur
on the bottom of their feet is more likely to wear away and
they may get ulcers etc (their fur is fine and short).
Other than their fur they are like any other domestic rabbit. Some people also say the Rex rabbits are better
for people with allergies to have as pets but I have no
proof of this.
Kind regards,
Marguerite
