Subject: Wild (?) bunny hopped into the house

Ok, I'm serious. A very cute brown bunny with a large head and large eyes hopped up 3 steps and into my mother's house. Proceeded to hop around and make itself at home. It now hops up on the couch with her and looks around, and shows NO fear. Hangs out in a bedroom, under a bed when it sleeps. Likes broccoli. My question is, could this possibly be a wild bunny? It looks like several we've seen hopping around the neighborhood. Can wild bunnies be so brazen?
