Subject: Wild rabbit in my garden with nest of new babies

A little wild rabbit has made a nest and had a litter of babies in the mulch at the base of my lamp post in the front yard. I noticed the mother nursing them and two other rabbits apparantly standing guard. We have foxes and preditory birds in the neighborhood and I'm worried about the mother and babies safety. Is there anything I should or could do to protect them? The mother is accustomed to us and occasionally takes carrots from our hand. The babies are burried just beneath the mulch but I didn't see any hole leading to a hutch. I don't know anything about rabbits any would appreciate any advice. Thus far I have them in Gods hands.
