Hi,
How do you know your rabbit is not looking after its young?
The normal thing is to make sure your rabbit is left alone,
has the babies kept in her nest box with hay in it and
is given peace and quiet. Sometimes a baby may be found
outside the nest box because it held on to the teat while
mum hopped out. Rabbits do not display human maternal instincts and cover their young and go back to feed them
usually when you are not around to see them doing this.
Please visit <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.rabbit.org">http://www.rabbit.org</a> for more information.
The more you interfere in the early stages of your female
rabbits interaction with her babies, the more likely it
is they may die.
Kind regards,
Marguerite
