Subject: Please help - rabbit pulling out hair

I am very concerned about my 2 year old ND spayed female rabbit. She was spayed at the age of 8 months and six months later began pulling out all the hair from under her chin, down to her foot. She eats the hair. She never displayed this type of behavior before her spay. It grows back in and she starts all over again. She's been doing this every month for the last 8 months. The area looks very red and raw. My vet just cannot find out what could be causing this. She has a ton of toys to play with, lots of different kinds of hay, gets plenty of attention and hours of free run time every day. I tried bonding her with my other spayed female but she pulled out her hair in addition to her own. They are no longer together. Has anyone ever seen this type of behavior? If so, what can be done to stop it? I even tried bitter lime but it did not deter her. She ended up pulling out more. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
