Subject: Halloween Party

Saturday night, October 27, the LWCA hosted a Halloween Party get together. While the original classic horror film Frankenstein was played on the tv, the kids of the neighborhood made it their mission to pop every balloon decorating the building, draw halloween pictures, do some word games and feast on the buffet of pizza, cookies and cupcakes. The adults spent the evening sharing conversation and munching on the goodies. The kids were cute in their costumes. We saw a pirate, Dumbo, ninjas, the Little Mermaid, and a skeleton, among others. Some of the adults also came in costume. The President Chris and VP Karen played a lovely medeval couple, Cindy was a winged angel, Diane was a Mexican cabalero and husband Dave was a frightening ghoul. Some new faces in the crowd held promise that the organization will grow. Thanks to all who came and to all who helped set up the building, brought food, and cleaned up afterwards.
