Chapter 26 Words 1100

PLCO – October 22, 2001

After my March 12, 2001, the next PLCO appointment was to be on October 22, 2001. The evening after the March 12, 2001 PLCO appointment, I had a dream that explained how the lying serpent crawled into my life. The dream was extremely lengthy, but when I woke to write it down my words became lost in a jumble of thoughts. The dream covered four different subjects. Soon the thoughts went Poof and my words were scribbled as “Duh”.

The dream had informed that it was known in 1977 that infections that seeped into the blood from the gums would cause cancers. What a shock my husband’s 1996 bacterial-produced heart disease was! I had noticed that when I had a tooth infection, it produced cell abnormalities. I had also noticed that doctors do not prescribe antibiotics, even when the cell abnormalities were flagged.

Reality was that I didn’t look at my right arm where the blood was drawn. The following day, I did look at my right arm. The blood draw had left it with bruises.

When I received the brief copy of my March 2001 PLCO test, all health problems had disappeared, but the CA125 blood test showed an elevation. The CA125 blood test was supposed to detect cancer. A study would identify the CA125 relationship with the white and red blood cells. Any idiot would know that looking at one test would be like viewing the blood with one blind eye and the other eye closed.

Meanwhile, the blood-draw bruises continued to become larger. My first thought was that too much air could have been injected when the vacuum was created to draw the blood. I then thought, “Where can I go to find out about the animal air injection studies?”

That night in a dream, once again I could see the Death Rider as he moved from the left distant dark horizon to the right, shouting, “You lost the cold war!”

I turned my head and stretched my neck to strain my eyes in the direction of the voice in order to see where they shadowy figure disappeared. The Death Rider was nowhere in sight. End of dream.

Upon waking, I checked a few dictionaries. A phlebotomist must be a fairly new word. In my 1983 medical dictionary only the word “phlebotomus” (a bloodsucking sand fly) appeared.

Then I decided to enter Newsgroups, looking for information about air injections and bruises from a blood draw. The people on the Internet were fabulous. Indeed a great improvement from trying to make phone calls that answer with a recording, give you a run-around, and then hang up before any questions could be asked or answered.

The Internet Newsgroup people offered several replies. A person named “me” told me, “The larger needle is more likely to leave a bruise. The bigger hole in your vein equals a longer time to make a good seal, and the greater likelihood of seepage. I take offense at LK’s statement that ‘In any case, it’s a frequent consequence of clumsy needle handling.’ Hey, somebody has to stand up for us vampires.”

One person gave a scary comment on air injection: “Air is only harmful, if injected in large quantities.”

I had already heard that a patient had to request “No air please! Some people die, some people don’t and God only knows what happens to those in the middle!”

After leaving my Internet friends, I returned to the dream world.

Dreams could be used as a tool to identify areas of simply understanding and even simple solutions. An example would be the following:

The dream gave the title “Eye of the Storm”. I looked carefully at all the details. It was a bright, calm, clear day. The scene was filled with green rolling hills and scattered with people. The people were picking up their fallen debris that resulted from the passing storm. I, too, was like the rest of the dream people who were gathering reminisce. I could see myself moving and rummaging through the pile of rubble in front of my dream face. The people and debris were scattered, yet every one was chatting. Each voice was clear, as the person spoke.

I picked up a piece of wood, and said, “Yep, it reminds me of home.”

There was a chuckle within the dream’s atmosphere. The item I held was only debris, which was an example of the only thing, the storm had left behind. I woke with the feeling that it was more than debris. The rest of the storm had yet to be. End of dream.

“Wow,” I thought, “what a simple dream. There must be a simple reality solution.” My problem was to find a new doctor and pay big bucks to have my blood redraw. I didn’t wish to pay extra money, again, just so that I could compare a larger picture with the CA125 blood tests. That would be the pit of stupidity. Therefore, I decided to request the complete blood tests from the cancer study.

The telephone rang. Instead of giving a written reply, the co-ordinator called. Well, the co-ordinator proceeded to tell me that the girl who drew my blood in March was misinformed about additional blood test. The study program drew five vials, but only tested for the one CA125 blood test. The rest of the blood was then deep-frozen in cryro vials to be studied in the future.

Previously, I had noticed that one very big problem of comparing a dream that involves health and healthcare was the medical records. An example of that was Dr. VenKat. So, I mentioned that it would be nice if she wrote it down. The PLCO co-ordinator then snapped, “Maybe I should send you a copy of the consent form you signed!” A mental picture also appeared with her thoughts saying, “You Slut! You have the nerve to question a member of the Medical Liars Society!”

I replied, “Maybe you should cancer my October 22, 2001 PLCO appointment!”
The PLCO co-ordinator mailed me a copy of the consent form in place of her verbal reply. I felt that was an example of a Lying Serpent. Why? Only a serpent would call to tell a lie, and then not place the lie in print. The PLCO co-ordinator provoked a new question. What would it take for you to call Health Sabotage “Health Sabotage”?

Another no answer would be The End of my volunteering to be on this Cancer Study Program!
