The Walk-Over
Chapter 3A
Scurvy &
The Truth Machine

When Ann flipped open her invisible medical book (1979), the page
landed on the disease scurvy. I assumed that everybody knew that
scurvy was a disease marked by inanition (exhaustion), debility
(weakness), anemia (red blood cells), and edema (watery fluid in cells)
of the dependent parts. The lack of vitamin C produced a spongy
condition, sometimes with ulceration (the invite of infection), of the
gums and hemorrhages into the skin and from the mucous membranes.
The disease was also due to a monotonous diet of salt meats.

The disease description was short. The complete page was a human figure
with the disease appearance. Vitamin C was something that the body took in
and distributed by way of the blood. Scurvy wouldn't show up in the blood
as scurvy. It would show up in a Vitamin C blood test. I found it strange
that neither of my medical dictionaries listed Vitamin C. So, I'll use
Vitamin A as an example. The suggested range is 20-80 /100ml. The
suggested range would be too great. (A hematologist called it a "mean".)
The patient's personal figure, such as 50 would be the patient's personal
bible. Then when and if the blood test figure increases or decreases, it
would be noticeable.

A century ago, blood was known as the vessel that carried nutrients to the
flesh (tissue). All cell life feed on some kind of nutrient. There were
bacteria that consumed iron, cholesterol, and etc. Some bacteria take
months to grow. I found it strange that some hospitals used the electron
microscope on tissue only, and not on the blood to detect the slow-growing
bacteria.

I had made a list of the various blood tests and established mine.

It was obvious that the 1982-83 Michigan hematologist had lied about
blood tests and had used blood transfusions instead of antitumor
antibiotics to treat a neck tumor. I believed that an evil doctor was a
medical terrorist that could kill more people to bad medicine than
anyone with bombs or bullets.

Complaints to the Health Department fell upon deft ears and employing
an attorney was impossible, so I tried the old cliché "You lie, you die.
The Truth Machine will turn you into Mince Meat Pie." Remember when
we were kids and taught lies were bad...well maybe not everybody.

I had found the best way to detect a Medical Terrorist was to ask
questions about blood tests. The evil doers would say, "Blood
means nothing."
