I believe that my mother may have been at school with a member of the family that you are looking for. Mountsorrel, the next village to Quorn may be a link. If you access Genealogylinks.net click on 'England', click on 'Leicestershire' and scroll down to Quorndon marriages 1576-1837 there are entries there for members of the Mee family. Good Luck.
