Subject: HALL of Leicester

I am researching the name HALL of Leicester. My Great great Grandmother was Elizabeth Hall, born circa 1830, the daughter of Richard Hall a Wool Stapler. Elizabeth Hall always stated in a Census that she was born in Leicester, but I am not sure whether she meant the City of Leicester or the County of Leicestershire. I would love to hear from anybody who may have a Hall connection, as I would love to find out more about her Father Richard Hall and who he married.
