Subject: Galway Family

In 1900 my Great Grandfather Martin Cahalin was shown as being in Thrussington, Leicestershire on the birth certificate of his son Paul, in Galway, Eire. I do not know if he was working here for a time (if so probably to do with horses), or whether he was visiting family?). Family names include, Kilmartin, and Larkin. Would be pleased to hear from anyone who could offer any clues. Many thanks.
