Some day I hope that people who place spam ads will be put in a labor camp. Something along the lines of a Soviet-era Gulag, someplace where the spammers can be made to work every day at hard labor...breaking big rocks into little rocks or somesuch.

They could be fed a diet of thin soup, stale bread, and water. Then they could be forced to make things, like shoes or gloves, slaving every day away at a sewing machine. Preferably chained to to their workstation.
