My grandparents were from Kilysth. I'm interested in finding info on the Charles Forsyth, and Ann Shaw Jack's family(Charles Forsyth born 1836 and died in 1906 in Kilsyth. His wife Ann Shaw Jack born in Kilsyth.) I don't have any further info on the lives of my great grandmother and great grandfather except that they were weavers. I do know that Charles' Forsyth parents were William Forsyth amd Mary Neven. Don't know when they came to Kilsyth. Mary Neven was a Highlander.
Also looking for Ann Shaw Jack's parents' info. thomas Jack who died in Scotland at 80 yrs. old and her mother Ann Marshall who died at age 70 years old. My grandmother, Jane marshall Forsyth was born in 1880 in Kilsyth and married Andrew methven Fergus who also was born in 1880 in Kilsyth.

Therefore, please send me any info you might have on the Fergus family of Kilsyth. My great grandparents were Alexander Fergus and Mary Methven. My great, great grandparents were Andrew M. Fergus and jean Goodwin, but I don't have any dates of birth nor death dates/places for these family members.

Our family tradition says that the Forsyths were weavers in Kilsyth. At some point the Fergus family were Highlanders who moved to Kilsyth. Thank you for any information you might be able to send regarding my families. mary
