Subject: The Meyricks, Lloyds, and Turners of Glamorgan

My great-great grandmother was named Margaret Lloyd, daughter of William and Elizabeth (possibly from Wales). She was born in Ludlow, but claimed to be Welsh. In 1865, Margaret married John Meyrick, son of George. Shortly thereafter (very shortly), Margaret gave birth to her daughter, Emily Jane. John was a groom and apparently died early on – Margaret and Emily emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts about 1883.

Any info about the preceding would be appreciated. Below details a possible living link:

My grandmother had been writing to relatives of the Lloyds as late as the 1960s, and a distant relative from Nova Scotia visited them in the early 1970s. My grandmother wrote to a "great aunt" named Mathilda Lloyd (the "h" may be optional), and her "cousin" Albert Lloyd. Albert married a woman named Gaeta, and they had a daughter named Audrey Lloyd, who then married Trevor Turner. Trevor (probably now deceased) had a son named John - John is likely in his early 40s now and may still live in Aberdare. John Turner could possibly trace his roots back to either Margaret Lloyd or her mother.

Thanks.
