......Snorts harshly......
-Dark steed looks around the herd. He snorts. They had all taken his words wrong. His words were only to make them see that this was foolish behavior. He only stated what he wanted the herd to be now. He stomps hard his hoove to the ground. Harshly he grinds his hoof across the dirt. Making large gashes. He snorts. He was anonnied. He couldn't help but dwell on Aurora's words. He knew most were true. He had changed from being the leader of warriors to the leader of a peaceful little land. Where the fighting took place with in the Royal Family. He snorts harshly. Dark orbs turn toward the herd. Anger boiled his in his blood. Now matter what he said did or tried to do someone took to offence. No they couldn't see he was trying to make the herd strong again no. Only pointing out the bad. Only to act as if they were wronged in so way. He tosses his head. Ebony mane falls across his face. Hiding darkened eyes. Eyes flick across hopeing to see someone working him. But no. Only against him. He felt like he failed everyone. The whole herd seemed against him. Everything was fine till he had the Queen choosen. Were they all in the herd just to be Queen?? His blood boils more at the thought. If so they did not truely have love for him. Nor did they truely care. Anger fills his once soft brown eyes. He couldn't stand the thought that they were only here for that. He dreamed of a herd who didn't care about rank or being Queen. Only to serve and make this land the best. Yet here they were upset about because they were not crowned. Did they not know that he loved them the same as before and that would never change?
He snorts. He couldn't stand the thought they didn't know this. Yet they still acted as if he only wanted them as mares. How far from the truth was that. He knew each one like he knew himself. Everlasting Legacy, Sweet, loving mare. Yet had a backbone when she needed it. Diamond, a dominant mare one of the most dominant mares here. Not easy to trust yet when you gained it, She was kind, loving. One of the most loyal mares in the herd. But she also had a dark side. One of a warrior. Aurora a true to life warrior. The most dominant mare here. Yet she came and only wanted to serve this land. Never asked for rank nor asked for anything. Only to serve this empire. Yet she could be loving. And she only trusted a couple of horses in this herd, Diamond, Everlasting Legacy and Me. Yet she had respect for all the others. Then there was Serenity, a loving mare. That was loyal. Her only wish was to be accpeted and to have friends. Yet she was much more then that. A domiant mare in her own right. A mare that was over looked by many. But never let that get her down. Yet one day she will make herself known to this herd. And it won't be a soft introduction. Then there was Ice, a mare who was dominant and warrior. Never submit to anyone. But knew when to put up a fight. And would fight for what she believes in. Never letting anyone get her down. El-Arabia, a loyal and loving mare. One of pride and loyality. Ready to stand and fight for anything that she believed in. Yet she was loving and kind to others.
He knew each mare. But he knows he only knows what they show. He knew he had not taken the time to get to know what they were really like. Yet he had a deep anger boiling inside of him. But it was more toward himself then at the herd. For he knew he had picked them all. And if there any fault it would be his own. Yet his mind would flost back to the thought of them only being here for the position of Queen. Even if he hated that thought he wasn't sure if it was truth or not. Was reality hitting him hard in the face that he had let it happen?? He wasn't sure. He walks slowly back to the herd. Yet he wasn't sure if he should be with them. He still had questions about them. Doubts that lingered in his mind. Yet he goes anyway. He makes his way to Everlasting Legacy his queen. He noses her side softly and whuffles-
