Subject: JOSEPH HARRIS AND JANE KIMPSON and RICKERBY

My Grandfather, Joseph Edward Harris, was born in County Down in 1869. His brothers and sisters were William and Mary.

Since my grandfather's father died 5 days after he was born, then William and Mary had to have been born prior to 1869.

I understand that my great grandfather was in the Coastguard and so was transferred to several locations during his life.
After the death of Joseph Edward Harris (senior) his widow Jane Harris (nee Kimpson) remarried to Samual Rickerby. Her children by this marriage would be my grandfather's half brothers and sisters.

Joseph Edward Harris married Adeline Adeane and came to Canada in 1901.
