Subject: Reily of ___laughaloon

In the 1930 US census my husband's great grandmother said her mother was born in Northern Ireland--we have a letter that her father wrote to her in 1857 with a place up by the date but the first part of the word is missing, what is there reads laughaloon January 29, 1857. Does anyone have any idea what the missing part of the word is, it's our only clue as where she was from, we would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.
