Subject: Samuel and Martha (dougherty) McFadden

Attempting to research my 3rd great grandfather Samuel. Reportedly from Northern Ireland and left between 1845-1848 for Philadelphia,PA/USA. Martha had a sister, Jane Dougherty, who was a nurse. In an old family bible, which belonged to Martha Dougherty as a gift from J. Robinson, Ballymoney with ? date of 4/6/53. This bible is very old and published by Cowan and Co. 17 Princes Street Edinburgh, Scotland with MDCCCLI. I have found Samuel and Martha on the census for Philadelphia in 1860 and I find Jane Dougherty with Alexander McFadden (son of Samuel and Martha) in Missouri, USA in 1880. I am hoping there is someone out there who will recognize this info and offer a helping hand. Thanks in advance for any help!
