Subject: Ellen [Nellie] Campbell Mc Donald Burke dob: 1866

My grandfather Walter Burke born in Aug 1897 in NYC, was the second child of James Burke and Ellen [nicknamed Nellie]. I am unsure as to whether her maiden name was Campbell or Mc Donald as her first husband died, ans she married James Burke, maybe in Ireland or NYC. Ellen was born in 1866 and James was born in 1867. The couple lived on Downing Street in Manhattan, NYC until l909 when their three remaining children were placed in St. Dominic's Orphan Asylum in Blauvelt, New York around Ellen's death.
Please help me find family of this Burke couple so my mother will be satisfied before she goes. She is 78.
