Subject: Charles McElwee Family

I am looking for information regarding the Charles and Catherine McElwee family who emmigrated from Ireland in 1847. They arrived in the Port of Philadelphia, PA (US) 31 July 1847. Their children were Elizabeth, John, Henry, David and Mary. The elder 3 children were born in Ireland and Mary was born in New Jersey.

Most resources indicate County Donegal as the most likely residence of McElwee Families.

Any specific information regarding this family or the McElwee name in general would be greatly appreciates.
