Hi,

I have this software and ran in to the same issue. This is due to an incompatibility with software/dongle and cpu's using more than one core (all computers over ~last 5 years or so have more than one cpu core). It can be run in windows XP succesfully using a software program called Psexec.exe (free download from microsoft technet -- a file in their PsTools set: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897553.aspx) then creating a notepad file called say 'autodigitizing' with the contents of "PsExec.exe -a 1 autodigitizing.exe" and save it (without quote symbols). Rename the file to autodigitizing.bat. This forces to run the program on cpu #1. You can change the above line to "PsExec.exe -a 2 autodigitizing.exe" to run in cpu #2, etc. This should fix your problem. We have been running it fine like this. If you try to access files over a network you may run in to trouble though. Also have not been able to get it to work well with windows vista. Good luck and God bless!
