Basil was content with the fact that no one had offered to battle him for the territory, and so he would attempt to make an effort to maintaining it on his own until someone else arrived. Lying down in the shadows he yawned, forever stained fangs glistening with moisture.

Shutting his maw he looked around the terra with satasfaction-it was truly a beautiful environment. His golden orbs rested on the territory border, watching for a lupine's arrival, ready to defend what he'd promised himself to protect.
