It remains a mystery as to why everytime Zhao Wei steps onto Malaysian soil, the sky would be pouring cats and dogs. Seriously, it was the second time WeiWei is here, and the rain seemed to have no intention of stopping. I got off work 15 minutes before lunch time, somehting i have never done before, to meet Xiao Jun at the flower shop to get 4 bouquets of flowers (for WeiWei, Chen Rong Jie, Jing Ping Jie and Director Cory Yuen). The worst thing happened a few stops before the train reached Central Market. It started to rain there as well. We were considered 'considerably' dry when we reached the store (which was out in the open air). And as we waited for the owner to 'wrap' the flowers, it started to pour. Both of us stood there like stupid idiots adjusting our umbrellas to 'suit' the wind change but still soaking wet altogether. And there i was thinking that the weather couldn't get any worse! haha... Luckily, the flowers were quite beautiful and we forgot all this when we saw weiwei, even though my shoes were still flooded.

We rented a bus to get to the airport like the last time. But as we have only decided on the last minute that we would welcome weiwei at the airport, there were not more than 20 of us going on this trip. Since we have already met each other the last time, we were more familiar with each other and joked around while we waited.

After wei's plane landed, we moved over to the exit where she will come out and pulled open our banner. We attracted glances and 2 ladies even walked over and asked who we were waiting for. When we said Zhao Wei, they were so excited and waited with us! Haha... I was supposed to present the flowers to Chen Rong Jie and i was so nervous that i couldn't stand still and had to wipe my palms against my pants from time to time as they were sweating non stop.

At around 6:45pm, our angel finally strode out of those double doors again after 4 months. We shouted "Weiwei, huan ying ni!" (weiwei, welcome) and she spotted us. She wore a white shirt with light brown pants, with no make up but with sunglasses. She looked very casual, but great altogether.

I stepped up, gave the flowers in my arms to Chen Rong, and said "Chen Rong Jie, huan ying nin dao da ma lai" (Chen Rong, welcome to Malaysia). She seemed a bit surprised but smiled and said thank you. As I turned to look at weiwei, I realized that she was walking towards me. I hesitated before stepping up, called her and stretched out my hand. She shook it! I, uh, must confess that i shook her hand a bit too firmly as i'm used to doing that. Haha...

Columbia assigned many bodyguards to escort them to their cars (black Benz for weiwei again) so i couldn't get near her after i shook her hand, in fact, i could barely see her. But Jine was walking next to her and she mentioned later that Wei asked why we were all wearing black like the Columbia bodyguards (they wore black t-shirts as well with the words "So Close" printed on it). Jine's answer was to suit the promotion of So Close. Wei quickly turned and asked the people from Columbia to save 2 shirts for her but not before patting on Jine's back approvingly. (so cute)

After getting into her car, she leaned forward to see us, as if she couldn't get enough of us (so touched) and waved. She didn't lean back until the car drove off.

We were quite controlled. Maybe it was because there weren't many of us, but we didn't try to crowd her.

After seeing her off, we went to McD's to get something to eat and got stuck in a traffic jam on our back cause it was national day the next day and people were out to party.

It was a very different feeling seeing her this time. But i must say, she looks even more beautiful without make up! You must have noticed that i didn't mention how good she looked as i didn't think it necessary cause we all know how beautiful she is! :P

Love weiwei forever! And sincerely hope that her father have a speedy recovery!
