Slowly, the news trickles down to ordinary people...
The Crac'anian Empire, with the most powerful army in the world, has been invaded. Reports indicate that the Pass of Nations, the traditional gateway to Crac'an, has fallen, and with it Milfort, the meeting place of the Military Council. In response to this invasion, by an unknown force, the League Council in Ilo has declared a state of emergency among all member states. The Prince of Por Tsar has declared that the army be marshalled before the city of Por Tsar on the north bank of the river Por in 3 weeks time. The regular garrisons in the major cities have all departed, leaving the Constabulary with an unexpectedly heavy load. The reserve has been called up and is currently training.
