Harold Druken is quite the local hero among hockey fans in Newfoundland, especially in his home area of Shea Heights in St. John's. Famous enough that he usually gets congratulated by the local MHA at House of Assembly meetings for just about anything he does.

As for knowing him personally? Hehe. Nope, I don't think our paths ever crossed. He went to St. John's Bosco in Shea Heights, was scouted out at a pretty young age (12 or 13?) and thus was whisked away to a Boston prep school soon thereafter.
