Ode to Morning Masturbation

Such a prescient early morning ardor
springs forth to yield a cockamamie bulge
straining polyesther stretching harder
with every randy thought that I indulge;

dreaming vivid, Technicolor, prismatic
dew wrenched to squeeze the night's remains,
loosed from ready spigot -- automatic
abandon -- a proud stallion without reins,

harness, nor a ball-and-chain that's conjoined
to a master or to one who is enslaved,
who might find sensibilities purloined
or discover that its tastes are too depraved

for a simple backhand, forehand motion
as primal and as natural as a beast
who, struck with a pheromonic notion,
has no guilty feeling in the least.
