Subject: Vanishing hope
The Arabian mare known as Kashmir trots back into the mare meadows from a long days walk around the lands searching for a stallion willing to except her into hs herd. The Dapple Grey mare walks over to the waterhole and drinks showing off her Arabian figure to all that see her. As she drinks her hope of finding a herd to call her own dwindles. Though she is only Three she feels that time is runnig out. Then a rattle snake slithers by she shies at first but then she infuriates herself and defeats the rattler. In her bittersweet triamph she whinnies so that all can hear though it only sounds like a wisper" Come claim me."

She nickered to the fine stallion as to say that she is delighted to be his mare. Then she snorts as if to ask Do you have a lead mare? Then moments later she got a puzzled look in her eyes saying "where is your territory?"
