the appalossa stnds alone in the fields, eyes straining to see farther, wondering how far they mares streched. she looked around, wondering if there where any stallions. they young mare had just arrived here. she was not strong or elegant like manny others here. she lowerd her head, forlock falling into her eyes, and smapled the greens. she lifted her head to the wind, smelling nothing but the sent of horses.

Black Night trots into the meadows and sees a beautiful mare all alone. he trots up to her and gives her a gentle nip on her flank. she will be the first mare of Black night's herd! he nickers softly and nudges her towards starlight meadows where her new home will be!

she watches the stallion, and walkes in the derection he tells her to. (were do i go???)
