I'm so sorry to hear that you are still in so much pain. I can remember being there myself! Backs are so tricky, as everything else that you move affect your back too -aaarrrggghhh!!! Are you using heat or ice too? I remember using the moist heating pad and microwave heat packs.

Have you tried making your own heat packs - you can use a mens tube sock, or figure out what shape you want it to be - fill with cheap, ordinary uncooked white rice, sew closed (or just rubber band it shut if you have to). Microwave your heatpack for about 1 - 2 minutes depending on your microwave or how much rice you used. I'm using one right now in my shoulders & neck. They are nice & flexible, can be draped anywhere on your body.
