I don't post a lot of things on webmd anymore, I had to many things deleted, and so did Nancy. And they were just like yours I bet, just needing some advice, and to vent a little. I am sorry that I didn't see them yesterday, I had a few things to get finished up where I had been sick for so many days. But girls all we can do is hang in there, and support each other, and pray for each other. I am trying to get my disability too, I have been at it for almost a year now. (Oct.10th) I am waiting to hear from my first appeal, and I did go to the representative's office and take some of my paperwork from my Dr.'s and my therapist. I filed the appeal the first week in April, and I am still waiting !!! Of course they are going to take thier sweet time, but you owe them something and they wanted it yesterday !!!!
My GP did get me one of those parking placards for the handicapped, I walk so slow that if it is raining, I get soaked before I can get into a store, or anywhere. I don't go out that often, but it sure has come in handy a couple of times.
Surely with all the stuff my Gp has sent in, and my therapist, and my psychiatrist.....I should be hearing something soon. But I have already called a lawyer to see what I have to do if I get turned down again. I am not going to let it rest, I will be under thier skin everyday if that is what it takes, and the rest of you do it too!! And no, age does not make any difference....I think that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of!!!!!
