Hi everyone, sorry for my long absence. This spine is giving me fits. Had x rays a couple of weeks ago and found out that my discs are about gone in my lower back and arthritis has set in. I knew it was getting worse. The doc has put me on morphine. M S Contin, which is a slow release tablet. It makes me really sick. I'm weening myself off of it. It really has no effect on the pain either.
I haven't been able to do much. I do get out on Sundays for church. But..I don't go out to see my pheasants anymore. Can't get there and back without using a cane. Then I wonder if I will make it back. I feel very useless. Kind of like a waste of air space.
I have had my son's 3 kids for about 2 weeks now. That has been rough. I'm glad my daughter is here to help out a lot. She does more than I do. I can't keep putting this burden on her.
I turned in my son's girlfriend to DHS and Social Security for neglecting the kids and for abuse of my granddaughter's SSI money. The girlfriend has since left to visit her family and doesn't want to come back. She did however call my son and want the baby, Sabrina. No Way!!!
My son, Charlie saw a lawyer on Wed. to file for permanent custody of the baby. I just hope the judge signed the papers on Friday. Will call Monday to find out.
I went back and read all the posts here. Amy, so sorry that the delete finger got you again. They usually get me but I don't post much there anymore. It is supose to be a support group, not a delete group.
I hope everyone feels better, I'm going to get off of here for a while, I'm not feeling well, Again. I will try to get back later. Hugs & Love to all, Nancy
