Hi Melanie, I got your post card yesterday. I was going to email you but of course the baby deer needed so much attention. Thank you so much!! Sure makes my day when I get a card. I need to start sending some out. I just get so down that I'm not quite sure what to say.
Boy, it is a zoo around here. I do my best to keep up with them, when I'm done feeding and watering every critter around here, I'm whooped. Not to mention that the baby goat, Speckels, will walk behind me and headbutt my legs. Almost makes me fall. She just wants me to play with her. Silly little thing.
I think I'm going to have to have something done with my back. I have avoided it for years. Just took pain meds. But they are useless now. I take hydrocodone. I eat it like candy. Now I know about the problems it can cause with the liver. I just don't know what else to do. I'm trying to taper down, but I can only last so long and then I just start eating them.
Like I said in my last post, I have no more insurance of any kind. What are people like me supose to do? I know I'm not the only one in this position. There are millions of us out there.
Again, thank you for the post card, it sure made a bad day look a little brighter. Love and Hugs across the miles!!!! Nancy
