I started swelling in the legs but not the ankles many years ago and was told all sorts of stupid things even that it is because of my body shape. It is not edema like most people. I can have my legs swell so that my pants go from loose to tight. Does this happen to you? I have never met anyone with this type of edema. Knowing somebody else has a similar problem would make me feel better that it is all part of this monster. What do you do to deal with it? I sometimes just lay on the floor with my legs up on my bed. Heat seems to really worsen the situation and the cold doesn't seem to have much of an impact. Do your legs throb? Anxious to hear from you.
