Hi there Fran,
Sounds chilly out there, not much better here in NJ. Warmer, but still RAINING!!!! Hoping it stops at least for Monday & Tuesday. Kevin graduates from 8th grade Mon morn. & Nick from HS Tues. morn. Then its out to lunch with both sets of grandparents on Tuesday. We are having a big party at a rented firehouse on Saturday (catered of course!) So it can rain then. But I am sooooo tired of it, and it makes me feel wworse, well at I think it does.
Doesn't your daughter have surgery this week? So are you staying there to watch the grandchildren - or are they stayin w/ you? I'll say an extra prayer for her, hope all goes well with that. I know she will feel so much better. I felt sooooo much better after I had my hyster. Best of luck to her! Have a lot of fun babysitting the grandchildren, don't overdo it, be careful there Fran!!!
Marilyn & her daughter just left. They stayed here for the weekend. Came for a softball tourney that was supposed to be nearby. Then rescheduled and hour away from here, then rained out entirely! Oh well. They went shopping at some stores they don't have near them. Laura went out last night with Nick and his friends -oh the teenagers! Marilyn & I got to know each other better. It was great to put a face with the words we've been exchanging.
I wish we could all just have a get together somewhere. Just to hang out. Share some experiences, laughs, it would be fun. We'd end up falling asleep on each other, but we'd all understand!!! Then those that can't sleep would be up at 3AM wandering the halls and at least have someone to chat with!
