The rain washed out the entire weekend of games. But Laura made the decision to leave the local team here and play on that team as she'll get more playing time and much better coaching. They play more games which is critical for this summmer as a rising senior.
Patty and I had a good time getting to know each other. laura went out with her son, Nick, who is graduating tomorrow so got some teenage time while we visited with their friends. It is a small world as this man grew up near where I lived for 22 years before moving to where I am now.
Both families are going to vacation where I lived next week. Patty and her friend like to hit some of the shops down where I live now!
So, although everything was raine out, it was an enjoyable weekend. I wish I had the energy Patty has. I could barely stay awake in the evening as she is doing laundry and picking up. Boy, that doesn't get done around here!
